I’ve played off and on for several years with several boxed sets of clubs, like Affinity, and I like those sets. My team at work won the fall golf scramble and I wanted a good set of clubs, above the $150 boxed sets, for the spring scramble. I was looking to spend around $350 for a set. After much research, I decided on the Forgan IWD series. I bought this putter, the IWD irons, and the IWD 9 degree driver. Like the other reviewer said, the sight lines are amazingly useful. They are probably the best I’ve seen and used. Line up is easy with this putter and the feel is solid with good reaction at impact. The included cover is nice, but cumbersome in my opinion. Definitely one of those that hit the basket on the first hole and stay there until the end of the day. The horns on the back work well for picking up your ball, but I was unable to use them to remove the ball from the hole as the description states it’s capable of. The pictures the other reviewer posted are great, but still didn’t prepare me for how awesome or unconventional this putter looks. When I pulled it out of the bag, the rest of my foursome looked at me like I was producing alien technology what with it’s weird lines and green/black color with matching grip. But after a few holes with some righteous putts, they came around. This club definitely does something for your confidence with it’s “You won’t screw this up” sighting system and I’m actually quite pleased with it.

I bought this set for my wife who is new to golf. I am amazed at the quality of these clubs. They arrived to our home a week earlier than expected (in just 3 days). We have gone to the driving range three times and have found that the design and playability of these clubs match clubs which cost much much more. There is a great assortment of clubs and they are superior to anything you will find at a golf store or pro shop. All of our friends are so impressed with the wonderful birthday gift I bought my wife! They would never guess that her entire set of golf clubs and golf bag cost less than my driver!!!

I purchased this product for my husband. I was a little hesitant at first because he is far sighted and I wasn’t sure if he would be able to see the numbers on the display. To my surprise you can adjust the brightness and tweak the settings and he can see them just fine. He said it is absolutely helpful in showing him the distance to the pin for him to choose the right club without second guessing. He carries it with him all the time when we play, no matter which course we are playing. I would definitely recommend this product!

I bought GOLFBUDDY GPS about 1year ago. My course is located in Tampa so that a lot of golf courses are very located nearby.I will arrive in golf course and put on and tee off at No1 tee. No1 hole is full view. In case I start from No8 in shot gun tournament and just on and will show me No8 without any headach. I will get stuck at no 15 because of ladies day there so that I will go back to No12. My GPS show me No12 right away. I went to Hawaii this summer and played MAKAHA golf course where 2 courses located within 1 mile of each other ( WEST and EAST),but did not have any problem. I was so impressed that my wife bought GOLFBUDDY PRO 1 week ago. She is very beginner in computer. She like it.She put on and play and come home and charge it and play tomorrow again. Both of us play golf 6 days a week. This GOLFBUDDY-PRO is now down in price to $280 range { I bought for $450.} We like them.A+++++++++++++++. The BEST.My Buddy have Skycaddy but has to use compuer to renew and got to vacation and have to use computer to load new course. He can not play in shot gun from No8 without head ach. He will consider Golfbuddy next time.(He is very,very rich man.)

I’ve had my Golf Buddy for 3 months now. I can’t comment on the other GPS units out there but Golf Buddy is GREAT!!! I have had no technical problems with my unit. I will advise you this. Before you go to a golf course make sure the course is downloaded into your unit. Just because it’s on the Computer Directory it may not be loaded into your unit. I found out the hard way. Checked the computer and there was the course. Arrived at the course and Golf Buddy couldn’t find it. Called Golf Buddy and they Emailed me the directions on how to download courses (no charge of course). I am not very good with computers and downloading stuff (that’s why God gave us children)but these were very easy to follow directions. I followed them and bingo it worked great. You can also delete courses if you wish (sorry Alaska I don’t think I will be coming there to play golf)and add at anytime. The great thing is NO YEARLY FEE’S. Hit’em Long and Stright and enjoy your GOLF BUDDY.

Works very well so far but not perfect. I have found that every so often it drops the fairway. You need to go back and change the hole to the one your on (three times a round). Another thing is to be sure and update your GPS at the website (Its free,lots of updates). Overall It has really helped my game and I am happy with the unit. I would recommend it compared to having a monthly or annual membership. It really is a very good deal for the price. It does everything that Gof Buddy advertises. Just turn it on when you get to the course and it will find you..Very very user friendly.

This product is a no nonsense golf GPS. Provides everything you need, yaradage, score tracker and the ability to put in your own targets (very easy!). Plus there is no annual or monthly renewal fee. I did a lot of research before buying the Golf Buddy, and even though there are some out there that have a few more bells and whistles having no fees trumped them all. To my knowledge this is the only golf GPS range finder that does not have any fees.

Bought a Tour model which did not automatically recognize hole. Returned it and got a Pro model. Same device with black & white display vs. color. Color isn’t worth the extra $$. The Pro is okay, but is slow to register exact distances, unlike my SkyCaddie. Sometimes there is a 10 yard or so difference between the two units (SC is the more accurate one). I like the GB’s feature of target listing – easy. GB is slower to boot up than Skycaddie, but turn it on when you get to your course, and it will be ready when you tee off. Sometimes if you leave a cart some distance from a green, you have to manually advance to the next hole, as the GB still thinks you’re around the green. Easy to manually advance hole, but you shouldn’t have to. Bought the unit because of 1 – no annual fees; 2 – course capacity; 3 – ease of identifying hazards and targets. Score keeping feature is good, as is time display and shot measurement distance. Read the user manual directions – go online and update the course list and firmware before you play – it will work better. Unless you are a low handicap player and/or demand high accuracy quickly, this unit should be satisfactory.

I just purchased an SG5 for myself as a christmas present and i am sure glad i did. This little gadget is awesome and very easy to use even though this is the first Skycaddie i have ever had. I did my research and like a previous reviewer said, you can’t beat Skycaddie for the amount of courses they offer. Not only that but in the 2 weeks i’ve had it they have updated the pc software and the firmware on the device twice to add more features. This is one of the best investments i’ve made to help with my golf game. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a golf gps, you won’t be sorry.
